Free Career Workshop Starts August 21

Searching for a job but need more help than a job club?
Want to improve your resume or interviewing skills but can't afford a 'career coach' or professional agencies?
Not sure what you want to do in the next step in your career?

The Crossroads Career Network is your answer. Crossroads Career Network at Woods Chapel Church in Lee's Summit is starting its fall session on August 21 at 7:30 pm.

Based on the national career exploration program, Career Crossroads Network offers many of the same workshops and tools to aid your job search that you would find at outplacement agencies or professional career services -- with two differences:

  • There is no charge for the program. (Donations of $25 are gratefully accepted if you wish.)
  • The program is faith-based so you can build your career search on a spiritual foundation.
Over six steps in weekly meetings, the Career Crossroads Network program covers career assessment, finding opportunities, building resumes, networking, interviewing, and evaluating job offers. The program is led by Dave Templeman, Director of Recruiting at Riverpoint. Dave brings his insight on resumes and interviews from the recruiter's perspective as well as his networking connections.

Everyone is welcome! If you have any questions, please contact Dave at dtempleman@gmail.com
