Pat Meehan of Career Talk Radio at http://internetvoicesradio.com/Arch-PatMeehan.htm proposed an interesting idea for job hunters. He thought a great way for candidates to reach a large audience of prospective employers was to have a live online radio interview. Prospective employers and recruiters of interest to the candidate would be contacted before the interview and provided with a resume and other information. Pat would interview a candidate for a full half hour radio show and the listeners could follow along with the written information. His candidates would most likely be engineers, accounting & finance, HR, and others disciplines that relate closely to manufacturing and large service organizations. Would recruiters listen? Pat has asked for feedback on LinkedIn. An intriguing new approach to getting noticed in the crowd. It will be interesting to see if it works.
